Randy Rhodes seems to have taken a mistep or two while walking her pooch and landed on her face busting a couple of teeth in the process. But as it was reported originally by fellow Air America Moonbat Jon Elliott, she was probably attacke by right wing fanatics trying to silence her. Mr. Elliot is quoted to say:
"Is this an attempt by the right-wing, hate machine to silence one of our own?"..."Are we threatening them? Are they afraid that we’re winning? Are they trying to silence intimidate us?".
Soon enough Ms. Rhodes Lawyer and the NYPD came out saying that NO mugging/attack/lynching had occurred and that Ms. Rhodes fell victim of gravity (there ought to be a law against it!) and no foul play was involved.
After becomeing the joke of the day and taking a beating in the talkingradio.blog comment section. Mr. Elliot finally produce a written statement:
“I shouldn’t have speculated based on hearsay that Randi Rhodes had been mugged and that it may have been an attack from a right wing hate machine. I apologize for jumping to conclusions based on an emotional reaction.”
If you have nothing better to do, go by the Lib forums like DailyKos or DemocraticUnderground and have a hearty laugh at the comments posted. Same for talkingradio.blogspot.com where the people seem to be more concerned about the dog that Ms. Rhodes which is tacky but funny as hell.
