They must be scratching their heads.

After the V-Tech murders, The Brady Bunch and the assorted anti-gun zealots were feeling all fuzzy-warm thinking they had a perfect opportunity to get more legislation restricting fireamrs ownership. The usual media suspects came out in full force to deride the Second Amendment and the "gun nuts" and claiming for more "sensible" gun laws but..... it seems to have backfired.

Much to their surprise, Antis were given time on TV next to Pro-Second Amendment foes and found themselves in an unfamiliar territory: They were blamed for the massacre. It was almost funny to see them recoil in horror and not being able to defend themselves. When Talking Heads searched for an explanation, one powerful one was given: They were warned that this would happen and they chose to ignore it. What made it even worse is having somebody from V-Tech on the record giving assurances that the University would be better serves and his students perfectly safe barely a year before. That is the boiler-plate Anti platform: be desarmed and safe. But it was proven wrong 32 times at V-Tech and the blame does lay directly in the likes of Sarah Brady and her minions.

Of course, there were some setbacks due to the shooting. Spinless legislators in Florida sabotaged a law that would have protected civilians from having their vehicles searched illegaly by their employers searching for weapons. I am guessing they were expecting the same old bad publicity and their testosterone levels were low enough not to seek confrontation. Some other state legislators did not act as cowardly. Kansas Legislators overrode Gov Sibelius veto on premption. Tennessee eliminated the restriction to carry in public buildings. And Utah removed any prohibition to carry a concealed weapon on universities.

If you never followed the Gun Debate I must explain you that less than 5 years ago, such acomplishments were inimaginable. The standard way was for every liberal legilastor to come with an anti-gun piece of legislation, no matter how stupid and get his or her face pasted on the 6 O'Clock news to show how much they care. This time around, people just did not buy it and it shows. The almost lack of polls mentioned on the TV News shows tell very loud that people are sick of anti gun laws. I followed all the major networks online polls asking if more Gun Control was needed and all of them were beaten to the ground. What an eye opener that must have been!

Still, some idiots are at it. Denis Kucinich is now writting legislation to ban ALL guns from the US. But the cherry of thye moonbat cake goes to Dan Simpson, former embassador to several african nations who wrote an editorial with his final solution to the gun problem. It involves of course, the confiscation of all firearms from private property, fines and jail time for offenders, and Special Squads of police officers doing random (and without probable cause or duly court orders) personal and property searches for firearms. He goes on to say that police should "stop-and-search of anyone, even grandma with her walker, with the same penalties for "carrying." Yep, you read right. Probably he plans to use TSA personel that are used to stripsearch grandmothers going into planes.

The fight continues.............

There are two kinds of shooter: Those who had an ND and those who will.
You are legally, morally, ethically and financially responsible for the terminal resting place of every bullet you fire.

Sere algo cruel.....

Righteous Man

Alev ha sholem

MOURNER'S KADDISH
An English Translation

Glorified and sanctified be God's great name throughout the world which He has created according to His will. May He establish His kingdom in your lifetime and during your days, and within the life of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon; and say, Amen.

May His great name be blessed forever and to all eternity.

Blessed and praised, glorified and exalted, extolled and honored, adored and lauded be the name of the Holy One, blessed be He, beyond all the blessings and hymns, praises and consolations that are ever spoken in the world; and say, Amen.

May there be abundant peace from heaven, and life, for us
and for all Israel; and say, Amen.

He who creates peace in His celestial heights, may He create peace for us and for all Israel; and say, Amen.

“Whoever destroys a single life is as guilty as though he had destroyed the entire world; and whoever rescues a single life earns as much merit as though he had rescued the entire world”
The Talmud

Chronicle of a Death Foretold

The Anti Gun pundits are shocked that the Massacre in Virginia Tech. But I wonder if they are really shocked or shocked that their master plan failed so miserably. Touted as the Final Solution against Gun Violence in Schools, the Gun Free Zones was adopted and made law by almost every institute of learning. They promised parents and students safety from the evil people of the world. This was, obviously a fraudulent assertion which was paid in blood. In 2006, Virginia Tech Administration helped shoot down a bill that would have allowed citizens with concealed permits to carry their guns on campus. The V-Tech admins were static that the bill died before even making it to the floor. Larry Hincker, a V-Tech spoke-person said: "I'm sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly's actions because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus." I am wondering how happy is Mr. Hincker feeling this morning. Unfortunately, we in the Gun Community were not surprised by the shooting. We were angry, frustrated and upset at the senseless deaths and I don't know anybody who did not wish he or she was there to stop the massacre. But again, we were not surprised because we were expecting this total failure of the Gun-Free Zone. We knew it was coming. We warned about it over and over but were ignored by politicos and Media who "knew" better than logic and real experts. Nobody is saying that an Armed Citizen would have stopped the tragedy altogether. Maybe, maybe not. But Virginia Tech's Gun Free Zone proved that when you disarm people, you guarantee their massacre by those who refuse to follow the rules. You will hear a lot of people in the Media and politics blame the NRA, Guns & anybody they can think of about the Virginia Tech Massacre because they know 32 people died because they helped sell the mortally flawed concept of a Gun-Free Zone. They know their blood is in their hands and do not like it.

Keystone Cops at VT

So let me get this straight. it is 7:00 am and you get a call saying that shots were heard in a college dorm. You arrive at the scene to find two dead bodies and say: "Well, this has to be an isolated event. I don't see any reason why we should stop classes."

Virginia Tech Shootings. Lessons not learned.

At the time of this wrtiiting, 22 Virginia Tech students are dead and about an equal number were wounded at the hands of some nutjob. Details are still lacking but an amateur video played on CNN showing V.T. Police standing outside while you could clearly hear shots being fired inside the building.
I am guessing that V.T.P.D. did not get the Columbine Shooting Memo or the Utah Mall shooting Memo. People were getting killed and nothing was done:

Once again, the killing of innocent people stopped when the
gunman was engaged by an armed protector. It took us a long time to get past the old philosophy of containment and negotiation. To be sure, there is a time and place for that, but not when people are still being attacked. From Columbine on, that lesson has been hammered into us. We ignore it, not at our own peril, but at the peril of those we are sworn to protect.

And to cap this event, we also find out that an hour prior to the massacre, somebody was murdered on campus and no shooter was found then. No lockdown procedures were instituted.
A Serious investigation of the lack of actions of the V.T.P.D. must be done.

To that we should add the prophetic words of Virginia Tech's Larry Hinker when HB 1572 allowing handguns on campus was defeated.

Virginia Tech spokesman Larry Hincker was happy to hear the bill was defeated.
"I'm sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly's actions because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus."

Oh yes! It was very safe for the shooter. He was unimpeded to commit his crimes. I am sure he is appreciative of the efforts from all those who killed the bill, it also killed students.

PFM (I needed an antidepresive)

Pax Chavez

The headline reads: 291 murders in seven cities during the holiday.
As I checked the Venezuelan newspapers I came across the above headline and my stomach turned into a washing machine full of battery acid. 291 murders in 3 days, 97 per day, 4 per hour. What kind of mad world has Venezuela turned into?

I am trying really hard to come up with something witty but failing miserably. The sheep go bleating to the slaughterhouse.

Spring's here!

Sweet mother of Jesus! Who turned the sauna on? I just got out of 8 exhausting hours of training and the second I stepped outside I felt like I was slapped with a hot wet towel and that only means Spring is back in South Florida.
Much to the disgust of Albert Gore Jr. and the Global Warming Moonbats, we enjoyed a mild 3 and almost half months of great weather down here. But all great things must come to an end and we are back to the same old Everglades Ambience.

Also, time to check your hurricane supplies! This year I do have to get a SHTF Pack ready in case of evacuation. I'll keep you posted on its contents and development.

Rape Prevention

OK Nancy, WTF?

Not only you go to a country enemy of the US just to spite the President (treason right there) but you betray you fellow liberal women and NOW nutjobs by wearing that crap on your head that symbolizes submission to Men?

Do you have any doubt?

That poor Alberto's problems with the Democrats is nothing more than daring to be a Republican Spic? The Dems are a bunch of open-minded cretins, aren't they? You would have a better chance with them if you came illegally across the Mexican Border and were on Medicare and Food Stamps. How dare you be self reliant? You are a minority! You are supposed to be subservient to Hillary et All!

Oh yes! Peaceful Marches & Protest works

Bye-bye Radio Caracas TV. Hugo Rafael wants you gone and his minions in the courts are ready to seal your casket. Marcel Granier, you should have played it safe and bow your head to the infallibility of King Hugo. But you decided that citizens have the right to say what they want and now you are paying for your foolishness. The foolishness resides not on thinking that speaking your mind is a right but to think you are a citizen, you are not. You are a subject with rights to be determined by the Superior Intellect at Miraflores. I know you have appealed to everybody including the Pope and the results are somewhere between zero and minus zero. Sorry!
You guys remember back in 2002 how happy and hopeful everybody felt because of the Ley del Desarme (Disarm Law)? Even RCTV touted the law as a "sensible" way to reduce violence in Venezuela. But what has happened since then? Murders are at a worldwide high. Not local, not regional, worldwide. Venezuelans are dying at a rate that pales civil wars: over 100,000 murdered in the last 8 years! Unarmed people make for beautiful victims. You should be proud. Oh yes, I guess you also discovered that waving banners is kind of stupid while defending your "rights" and sadly discovered that an unarmed citizen is just a subject without rights. How are you gonna defend the company feeding the people under you? How are you gonna protect your and their rights? Appeal to the UN? They are not doing squat about mass massacres in Darfur and they are going to stop everything to help you? Dream on!
You wanna solve the problem, you need two items: guns and balls. The first one are easy to find. I am worried about you getting the second item. It seems Venezuelans gave them up long time ago.
And other News Outlets should literally see the writing on the wall because it is not gonna get any better. Here in the US, when you attack the Second Amendment, you are setting yourselves for the fall of the ages. Trust me, you can't stop a goverment goon with a laptop.
